Dont buy a house with roof insulation-WHY ?

the reason given is

1.electrical wires in the roof must breath else heat up and catch fire

2. if roof insulation has been placed over electrical wires in a roof--you can see what eventually will happen

3.electrical wires covered up not only risk catching fire, but their carrying capacity is reduced by 50 per cent

4.bats may contain fibres that can damage lungs and cause disease

5.especially if the bat has been cut and not resealed

6.electrical fittings such as light bulb fittings should have safety protection around them

SO YOU CAN SEE IT Is NOT JUST A MATTER OF PUTTING INSULATION BATS INTO A ROOF

Dont buy a house with roof insulation

if your house has roof insulation get it checked out with above points in mind

Let the inspectors KNOW that you KNOW

Even get bats taken out and dumped

one person has told me they cant get any contractor to install bats in his roof-- because the contractors insist in covering over electrical cables
