Oil Slips From 18-Month High
Oil prices dropped to $86 a barrel today after trading neared an 18-month high of $87, supported by data showing accelerating US economic growth.
Total Under Bribery Investigation
Total has been placed under formal investigation over suspected bribery relating to the United Nations Oil-for-Food programme during Saddam Hussein's regime in Iraq, the company said.
