GillardPM is carrying on KevinPM consideration for the disabled

Give credit where its due--but

Australia should have a policy of prevention

There are two main catergories of disablement

Aquired

Industrial

Genetic

Enforce industrial safety more and its penalties

Just as  important is to have a national policy of genetic screening to prevent disabled births happenning

People may protest

But let them take the place of a genetic disability birth

Suffer inside a deformed mind or body

Which has no say in creation or birth

Prevention is better for all

The days of people having an automatic right to create life- regardless of the result-is past

Off course some people do this already on a voluntary basis-commendable
