How Are Your Aussie Shares Doing-Terrible ! Ideological re Assessment

Well i think  if you looked you will be shocked-and depressed at the loss

KevinPm mining tax put a halt to Australia's recovery

Julia GillardPM has made some improvement some say-but not good enough

I supported the mining tax but not the effect or results

It seems the mining tax was not a good idea

It would have been better for people to buy shares in the mining industry-subsidised by the govt ?

That way mining would be boosted and people get an income ?What do you think

It seems the super profits the mining companies have for shareholders is untouchable and cant be recycled through the economy to help everyone

Back to square one

There maybe some other means of wealth re-distribution-as the gap between the haves and have nots is getting wider and more people are homeless etc

Going by share prices we are in a recession now

For an overall picture of the effect of the mining tax

One thing for sure is that without mining industry Australia is in deep trouble

As Australia no longer rides on a sheeps back

And its manufacturing industry is gone to free trade imports

Maybe the fed Govt should stop pussyfooting around and do things properly

1.Form it own mining  company--just immagine all the profit going into general revenue !

China seems to be doing well in this way.Free enterprise always is after Govt money and ripping off the taxpayer to line their pockets

2.Nationalise the mining industry-this would scare shit out of free enterprize-make them more ameniable !

Maybe the Fed govt should stop messing around and do something worthwhile, and tell free enterprize who is in charge of the country
