Are both Labour and Liberal correct ?

Lets take a situation i have experience of

Kevin Rudd Mining Tax
Australia needed more money to provide basic services for an increasing population
Much of which is caused by migration refugees boat people
Forget about the aging population scam
People have always aged and paid their way
It just means govt has spent their taxation unwisely and havent derived enough income from it
To pay for needed services
Then there are the greedy service providers who want more
Probably because their operating costs have gone up
Due to people making a profit from them etc
Except for a few cases-mining rights belong to State or Fed govts
So if mining companies make huge profits
Why should not Govt require higher royalties
To pay for new and expanding social services

The increase in royalties and govt spending would provide services and move the increase through the economy stimulating it-preventing reccession
KevinPm backed off,even then got pushed out
GillardPm says there must be a limit to expansion
Basic social services cant keep up with expanding needs
So limit population growth
Mining companies plan 10 yrs in advance and invest 10 yrs in advance
And need a secure long term govt policy to refer to
Mining companies have to break even else go broke
Recent mining profits have been very good-despite a recession where all proclaimed to be hard up or broke
There are small miners just hanging in-depending on price of raw materials, gold,aussie dollar
Who employ a lot of people
Liberals say no mining tax and cut unneccessary expenditure
Maybe increase royalties in good times(like now)?

Hospitals cant keep up with workloads
Either private or public
So increase in royalties would assist in expanding needed health services
Remember the national bowel cancer programe
Well people are still waiting to be screened 3 months after diagnosis of being at risk
Neither public or private practice can keep up with the workload

So what do you choose-a mining tax and better health service
Or no mining tax-no increase in health service-budget cut backs-increase profit to miners(most)

If you are a citizen caring about your country and fellow citizens you would support mining tax
If you are more self centred you wont support mining tax
And might say invest in mining shares to pay for your health costs-or go without
