The recent Aussie fed election continues to be a non event
With a Labour minority govt about to take power
Beholden to Greens and Independants to stay in office
Congratulations to Liberal coalition for their success in coming back and gaining seats
And just missing out on govt
It seems to me some independants are weak and wont stand the workload or pressure of a Federal member or parliment
Give credit where due Labour had some good policies
I think liberals missed out because Tony Abbott
has too much respect for women to attack them (GillardPM)
too friendly with GillardPM=little differance for voters to choose
found no scandals--were plenty to use
didnt character assasinate opposition
lacked the killer instinct
never debated anything except domestic policies-voters are educated these days
The Fed govt is on thin ice and it remains to be seen how long before the ice melts in climate change
