The “extremists” are not happy
Senator Barnaby Joyce writes: Last week they were labelled by Labor as Dungeons and Dragons conventionists, extremists, Ku Klux Klan members, oddballs and “that other audience”. In NSW on Saturday they were called voters. The Green-Labor-Independent “GLI movement” hardly received a resounding vote of confidence – another reason why there should be concern as to where they are taking our nation. More.
Libya’s terrorism option
Should Gaddafi survive, he will seek to cut off the coalition countries’ access to Libyan energy resources in the future. However, given Libya’s past use of terrorist strikes to lash out when attacked by Western powers, Gaddafi’s threats certainly raise the possibility that, desperate and hurting, he will once again return to terrorism.
